Frederick Torres has attend all four years in SUNY Oswego. Through the school he was an intern for NBCUniversal’s The Maury Show. This past summer he completed an internship with DialougeDirect fundraising for the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. He is now currently interning for Spectrum Sports News in Syracuse.

Anthony Coraci is a second year student studying Communication and Social Interaction at SUNY Oswego. He is an avid sports fan, but his major focus is on hockey. Coraci was a New York State Hockey champion in 2016 with the Palisades Predators. He hopes to have a future job working for a sports team in their communications department. In his free time, Coraci likes to keep updated on news about his sport teams on social media.

Raiven Encarnacion is a student-athlete attending SUNY Oswego and is a double major studying broadcasting/mass communication and marketing, hoping to have a career as a sports reporter or a producer in the near future. She is a outgoing and smart girl that would love to share her personal interest and opinions through media and is in the process of learning the ins and outs of the broadcasting and sports industry.

Makenna Gagnier is a Student Ambassador in the SUNY Oswego Office of Admissions. She is also the Open House and Admitted Student Day Intern for the Admissions Office. She helps coordinate and run all of the larger scale events held by the Admissions Office for prospective SUNY Oswego students. She plans to graduate with her Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations this May, and continue her education with a Master’s Degree in Higher Education. She hopes to one day work as an admissions counselor.

Julia Rushlow is a second year student studying Broadcasting and Mass Comm. as a major with a minor in Theatre at Suny Oswego. She is a part of the Women’s club soccer team and the Women’s college choir at SUNY Oswego. She has also been a participant in theatre behind the scenes working as a stage manager. She also oftentimes is sharing political and lgbt related information through social media.

Alaces is a second year student at SUNY Oswego studying communications & social interaction, and music performance. In the spring 2018 semester, she got cast in SUNY Oswego’s musical, Urinetown, as an ensemble member. Outside of her student life, she is an aspiring singer and actress after having studied vocal music performance in LaGuardia Arts High School in New York City. Along with this, she volunteers at an organization created for Filipino/Filipino-American youth called Ugnayan Youth for Justice and Social Change in Queens, N.Y. where she participates as an organizer, facilitator, and point person for fundraising strategies. On a website called the Odyssey Online, she blogs about her college life and her experience as a Filipino-American, queer, woman of color.
